Generally speaking, following testing and delivery, how much carbon would have accumulated on a NEW RC2? Are we talking I could run a finger through the cylinder and come out semi-clean? Or would it come out black. Should I see carbon in the bore?

Picked up two cans yesterday. Trying to gauge if I need to head back to the custodian to ask some questions...

As long as the blast baffle ID is crisp, and you see no strikes, I'd chill and motor on. Mine have all had some blast Marks inside the body enough to tell me what muzzle device surefire tested them on by the pattern.

I'll have to look for it, but I recently read an interview with a Surefire employee and he said they test fire several shots both unsuppressed and then suppressed and electronically record the results to verify each can is shooting within the advertised poa/poi shift.
