Debating on which of these cans to order in the next week or so.

I was going to order the 556 rc but the 762 mini seems very interesting, around the same size as the 556 also. There really isn't a price difference either. Does anybody have experience with either of these? Especially the 762 mini or ar15s and AKs. Thoughts? Recommendations?  Will the performance on the 556 rc be much better on my 556 ar15s compared to the mini?

Guns that will be using it:
10.5" mk 18 build
Multiple 16" ar15s
18" ar15
2 different ak47s and most likely a 308 bolt gun this year.

I've also read that the 762 socom mini will fit on the 556 socom brakes I already have on My ars, can anybody confirm this.

Since you are wanting to suppress both 5.56 and 7.62 firearms, go ahead and get the 7.62 can. It will work on both.

I know the 7.62 mini will work on both, but im really trying to find the performance difference between having the 7.62 mini on a 556 ar and a dedicated 556 rc can.  If the difference isn't to much I'm definitely going with the 762 mini, if the 556 rc can will be significantly quieter then i'll go with that one and buy another dedicated 762 can down the line.

The difference is not that big and I would rather have my 1st can fit on two weapons than 1. Get the 556 as your second can.

A Surefire supressor will fit on the same size or smaller diameter muzzel device.

So a 30 can fits on a 6.8 mm hider, or a 556 brake, and so forth.

There's some clever way they have designed it to prevent a 556 can from going onto a 30 can brake.  

As for the sound reduction, I don't know. A 556 can is going to be a little quieter than a 30 can on a 556.  But both cut down the sound so much compared to not having one it's like asking "I have a bike now, which car is faster, Porsche or Corvette?"

I would buy the mini30, and then get a mini 556 later on.  It's a shame SF is not making the Micro anymore - I have one at my dealer, and it's so short - like 3.5 inches long, and only adds about 2 inches to the length of the set up.

Nice gun! what is that 16'' 20'' barrel?.  OP I had went with a 556 socom for my 10.5 mrp I will run this gun 100% suppressed so the 556 can made senses. now when my dealer called me when he got the can he also had a 762 mini so I had to get one as well for my lmt mws! pending now.
