If you have a large POI shift, do your chances of a baffle strike increase?  Currently have a 6920 with M4-2k that is getting 3.5-4 in drop and 1in to the left POI shift @ 50yds.  I had Adco cut, thread and perm'd the brakeout to the barrel.  So making sure the threads are concentric to the bore has been done.  Talked to Mike at AAC and he suggested that it may be the FH, or may not be.  Just wanted to see what the answer to the first question is before I proceed with cutting off the current FH and putting on another one.

shoot into some jugs of water so you can recover the bullet.  It will have a scrape on one side if its a strike.

Or it could just be from the 20 ounces or so hanging off the end of your barrel

guess I wasn't clear, I haven't had a strike yet, just wondering if my risk for having one increases due to having a large POI shift????
