in what order from best to worst would you guys rate the following rifles AR15, AK 47, G3/HK91, M14/M1A, FAL judgeing by each of these categories separately
1)reliablity due to foreign debris in receiver/ mechanism (ie sand, dirt etc ..battlefield crap)

2) reliability with clean rifle ( no foreign debris) due to fouling from milsurp cartridges as in range shooting till it gets funky

3) ease of field stripping / cleaning to restore function

I'll say this about what I DO own...neither my AK74 (SAR-2) nor my HK91 have EVER jammed.  Each have about 2k rounds thru them, and the AK has never been cleaned.

My Colt AR jammed about 3 times in the first 150 rounds.  I haven't taken it out since that night, tho, cuz I haven't had time.  The jams were mag related.

No experience with FAL, M14/M1A at all.
