Is this for people who can't find their target??  Only purpose I can see is to get the glass pointed in the general direction of what you want to shoot.  Would be easier to just back off the power on the scope.

Or are we trying to build some kind of long-range/CQB monstrosity?  Seeing as how there's a spare mag holder too I can't wait to see what all's hung off the handguards.

I like the Stealthy color they chose for the rings. It's always good to make your rifle bulkier and harder to carry or fit in a case.

I've seen a set-up like this on a tactical match rifle.  It used the DPMS Tri-mount upper/riser to mount the scope on top and a red-dot on the side.  Evidently, it didn't work "as promised" because he got his butt spanked by the red-dot's.  I guess it could be used for the IPSC three-gun matches, but it sure looks like a unweildy behemoth.

not uncommon at 3 gun matches. Bunches of variations out there.

Check the equipment board...there's a guy who putting one together for a ACOG /optima combo.
