Relax and take a deep breath. The Burris is a far better scope than the Tasco.

Have You actually tried one somewhere before ordering?
I've been following Your other thread since I'm also looking to buy a spotting scope.

I would appreciate Your thoughts on the quality of the scope and optics when it arrives.

Thanks

I just sent a Burris Landmark back to Natchez. I agree, that it seems like a great scope for the price ($138), especially since the only gunshop around to sell them does so at $264! It does have long eye relief at 15X, and it's clear, but when I zoomed it up the picture became somewhat blurry. I also sent  a money order to Jarhead for a KOWA 501 (50mm) with a fixed 20X,  for $163. I would have gone for something like the TSN-1(77mm) but it seemed too big for carrying in the field. I'm not sure how long it takes to get here, but I'll let you all know how it compares to the Burris when it does.

Campy!  What are you thinking?!

You should have gotten a Swarovski...$1500 is a small price to pay for q-u-a-l-i-t-y.
