I'm pretty sure there are no 10mm's like this? I have a Delta Elite and love it. I also have a Glock 20&29. I really like the 1911 style and was wondering if anyone know of a gunsmith who would have the expertise in making a custom project?

Oh, in the 1911 style, sub compact 3-3.5" barrel.

Les Baer will build any of his guns that come in .40 in 10mm, too.

Are you sure you want a sub-compact 1911 in 10?  You're gonna lose a lot of muzzle velocity in that short barrel, and your gun isn't going to last all that long if you shoot a steady diet of full-power 10.

Well I know I will lose some velocity and it'll be a little firecracker. My 29 is quit the little cannon. However I just wanted a 1911 style cause I love my delta elite soo much. The 29 is a little fat and I like the 1911's smaller profile.

I am not sure that you can just chop down a standard 1911 pistol etc, because of all the forces that need to work together.  I believe that Colt did quite a bit of experimentation to get their 1911-based 10mm working right. My local range had a rental Delta Elite, and it cracked the slide behind the ejection portion after 5,000 rounds of factory 10s.  In my own personal Delta Elite, I load my ammo to 45ACP levels.
