I plan on building my first AR.  JT Distributing gets good reviews and will get the business.  I want a plinker - 16' barrel with A2 stock.  I want to keep this inexpensive, but am willing to spend the money to do it right on a budget.  My next AR will be a higher grade of rifle.

My Question - Is there any significant difference in performance (or use) between the generic kit 16" upper @ $289.95, the Expedition 16" upper @ $329.95, or the Dissapator 16" upper @ $379.95?  Please let me know.

BTW - The lower is a RRA I bought locally (new) for $100 at the end of Ausgust.  They had been $130.  I went back two weeks ago, now they are $150.  There was a claim that RRA had a price increase.  I don't know about a price increase.  I was ready to pay $130, but at $150 I paused.

Thanks.
