What reinforcements?

You have to have an original HK beside a JLD to see them.
One area that's real obvious is around the mag well.
Especially on the more recently made models.
Other areas of the receiver have them to ,but without one
here to compare(or the right pics) I can't honestly tell
you exactly where they are.
Until recently I haven't handled an original for at least 10 years.
Another shooter I know showed me the differences between the
JLD PTR receiver and the original.
They are there ,I'm not familiar enough to get more exact.
He liked his PTR as well .
Now he'll keep his original in the safe and shoot the PTR .
The PTR also has a few other impovements.
Improved ergonomic cocking handle ,knurled adjustment knob,
all peep diopter (no V notch) off the top of my head.
Oh ,and just to show there is still room for improvement,
I think the JLDs stocks are their ownly bad point.
I've heard their still attempting to get the equipment to make
stocks exactly like the originals.
The ones they currently use don't use the internal cross pins,
so you cant add a clip on buttpad or heavy buffer without first
getting an original HK butt stock.
I switched mine out.
