Does anyone know from experience exactly how far down the back of the magazine i need to install a pop rivet to block a 30rd mag to hold only 10rds?

I want to use it for hunting but law here prohibits the 30rd from being used as it is.

Thanks,

Stone

You can buy a 9 round Colt mag for about $12.

thanks guys, sounds like i'll look into that instead.  I just wanna make sure they're aluminum.

I currently have a 10rd armalite steel mag but it weighs more than an aluminum 30 rd'er.  I've heard bushmaster has pretty fast shipping too.

Where can i get the colt mags from??

Thanks again,
