I am fairly new to the board, though I did toss in my 2 cents on the SS/5.56 issue a short time ago.
I have a friend who is looking into the Saiga rifle(16" bbl in 308) that EAA has out.  Has anyone had any experience, good, bad or so-so, with these?   They look pretty decent for $429, and the write-up in The American Rifleman seemed fairly up-beat. The rifle looked to have good accuracy(2.17 group at 100 yards w/ PMC).
