I put the bushings on and used electrical tape over them and then put the top cover on and tightend it down and it worked like a dream.

Mine has a pin in the rear mount which indexes with a groove in the barrel nut. It has almost no movement at all, it's very sturdy. I'm using the 2 aluminum bushings in the front also, since it's mounted on an M4 profile barrel. The paracord is just to keep the sling swivel from rattling.

I've wanted to get one of these for my M4gery for years, but I can't get over the fact that aside from firing flares, they seem to be pretty worthless.
Am I wrong? Aside from the "COOL!" factor, what does having one of these things hanging off your front end get you? Believe me, I'm looking for reasons to justify my desire to have one! |
