Do you know what units that scale is in at the bottom? Inches or Centimeters.
It would seem odd that there would be 36inches of penetration in flesh, maybe ballistic gelatin. I say that because I can't think of anyone who is a linear 36 inches thick. (36cm = 14.17 inches, that makes more sense!) |

The material was 10% ballistic gelatin blocks, 20x22x47 cm at 4 degrees Celsius. If you want to see how these results compare with the 5.45x39 Russian, the 7.62x39, and the7.62x51 NATO, get a copy of Edward Ezell's "The AK47 Story". Every shooter interested in military weapons should have this book anyway.

Not to be rude.
But if you've been on this site at all, that picture you posted is subconsciously implanted in everyone's head. It's been shown so many times, and the link brohahah posted links you to the most indepth example we have to date on this beloved site. Don't let me discourage you for posting things like that in the future though, I'm always looking for neat info like this. |
