Just bought my first AR-10 today for $1199 plus tax. Did I do ok on price? It is NIB with two 10rd mags.

Also, I see where CDNN has 20rd M-14 mags for $15, has anyone checked these out? Are they USA brand mags?

I refuse to pay $60 & up for new mags for this gun. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I can't understand why Armalite did not modify the mag retention system on the Ar-10 to accept stock M14 or Fal mags. With the amount of these mags on the market it makes too much sense. I won't buy an Ar-10 because of this.You can get a Fal mag NIB for $10.
