Found this from Raythion.

AN/PAS-13 is the same sight used on the HK OICW creature sans the laser rangefinder and grenade arming system.

It comes with a qd mount for a picatinny rail. Will fit on any flattop M4- and they kept the video output jack, allowing it to be connected to a recording device OR to a video monitor- to include head mounted monocular LCD monitors. Permitting aimed fire around corners and such.

Havent seen the rifle version yet in pics from Afghanistan-but I HAVE seen the heavy, long range weapon version and its distincitve four-legged see-under scope mount on .50 Browinings.

Which kind of explaines why our people were bothered so little by snipers during Anaconda, when previously the Russians and the Northern Alliance people had suffered quite heavily from them.

With only a six hour battery life, and no way to use iron sights with the PAS-13 on the rifle they might be taking them off during the daytime when most pictures are taken. They are scarce also, at about $15,000 a copy they will probably remain so.

Well, thirty years ago you had the same thing with the AN/PVS-2. In fact, they are almost identical in size and weight.

But it could also explain why they are in such a hurry to convert ALL M-4's to flattop configuration...
