Need to get some out of production rings re-blued, anyone know of any shops that small parts?

Have you tried cold blue? I might come out ok.
Or if you want real bluing, you could try doing it yourself. That is what I did.

do you think cold blue would work on matte nickel rings?

just got a new scope for my hunting rig (up sized to 30mm tube-bitch to find Redfield rings for my gun)
don't need to look tier 1, just don't want nickel rings on hunting rig.

Buy new rings. You'll have to pay a lot extra to have the nickel stripped before the rings can be blued. This would likely exceed the cost of new rings. If you're really in a money crunch, spray paint the rings the color of your choice, and touch up as needed.
