You mean FDE like the RIS 2 rails?  

+ for answer.

There is a guy who calls himself the chop boss and chops RIS rails and paints the whole aluminum and does a perfect job.  He considers everything he does a trade secret ??

I was more referring to the DD furniture that is "milspec+ color".  My understanding is that the rails are all slightly different so matching a color would be difficult, but a polymer should be more consistant.  I have a existing non DD rail that I want to paint to match.
