Its just over 6 months on a form 4 and yesterday I get my form 4 returned with a letter saying I didnt include my State's permit letter.

They say I didnt include it but I did and even included 2 copies.

Now I have to send it back and they say maybe an additional 3 weeks to approve.

Thanks ATF.  I wonder where those two copies of my confidential private letters are?

Do you understand the amount of forms those people deal with on a daily basis? Most of them are filled out wrong, incomplete or just plain illegible.

You can easily fax or email a permit to them. Likewise, it shouldn't take an "additional three weeks". The time you lost is the time you take to respond and correct the error.

Now if they lost your whole application package, I'd be pissed.
