I figured that I might as well get something a little more interesting engraved for my Form 1 requirement, here are some better quality pictures. I sent the guys at Ident the image, they did a great time digitizing it and the result is awesome IMO

I honestly can't remember, it was a little bit more than normal for the digitizing. I said they could use the design for others'. So it may not be as much for yall if you like it.

Nice work.  You should have had the eagle's head pointed towards the arrows.

Ok time for a new SBR build. May I use your design?  I will go for the head towards the eagle.

towards the arrows? lol

Sure you can, as long as you say who gave you the idea

the image I worked with was one that I found, I don't know how easy it would be to change the orientation, but that is a good idea.

Why?

The US seal is looking left at the Olive branches.

The US seal features the eagle facing the olive branches because it symbolizes a nation that favors peace. The engraving above is on a weapon, so you can see how that might be ironic.

Maybe "peace through superior firepower."

Someone should do an engraving of the Tax Stamp, and where the serial normally goes put the name and city state.

The official description of the seal does not specify to which side the eagle must face.  It's gone both ways, depending on who's doing the rendering, in the past.

A bit of unofficial lore has sprung up about the wartime vs peacetime renderings vis-a-vis supposedly during wartime, the eagle faces the arrows, while normally it faces the olive branch.

Wow.. That's one of the best engravings I've seen, if not the best, for an SBR engraving.  Very creative.  Thanks for sharing.

And prior to 1945, this country wasn't quite run into the dirt by the progressive scum doing it now.

Looks great! I can't read the text as clearly as I'd like in the picture, but it appears to me that your trust is named after our first governor and legendary Indian fighter. True? Cool idea if so.
