is the vss vintorez available for sale in the american market?  if so can you find ammo or do you have to make it yourself.  cant find anything on the google.

Don't think so.  I would be willing to pay a hefty sum to any company that started building them though.  It's probably my favorite 'unobtainable' firearm.

Started manufacture in the 1980's. It's a select-fire weapon with integral suppressor. Since 1968 GCA prevented importation of foreign-made MGs, the chances of a transferable VSS is zero. Since it's built specifically for Russian special forces, I don't think Tula Arsenal is going to partner with a US firm to make a sporter version any time soon. But you never know - Charles Daly is trying to bring the Tavor here.

No, not only is it full-auto, it is integrally suppressed...post 68' imported suppressors are not available for civilian sales, IIRC.
