Alrighty, theres 3 numbers stamped on my M39s barrel. They are between the bayonet lug barrel band and the front sight on the top of the barrel. They are 76, 68 and 75. The 76 and 68 have been stricken out. Does anyone know what these might mean?

These are the size of the front sight post that is needed to be zeroed. If you look at the top of your front sight, you should see the same number. Somewhere along the way, it has changed on this particular rifle.

That could explain why my rifle hits low. The only number not staked out on the barrel is 75, yet the front sight has 8.8. Im guessing that it should say 7.5...
