This will be my first C&R buy. I want to get a Russian made Nagant 91/30 with matching S.N. I am not too picky but I dont think that I want one that has been refinished. I want it as original as possible. What do yall think about the ones AIM have?

Update: See my reply below.

Ok so I think I am going to get the 91/30 with Hex reciever from SOG. Link

1.Does this look like a good first C&R buy?

2. I see that some of the rifles have laminated stocks. Are these stocks new? I want my gun to be as original as possible so should I stay away from the laminated stocks?

3. What surplus ammo should I get and what should I stay away from?
