I am looking into building or buying a 91\30 sniper clone and am wondering other than the scope and turned down bolt handle what else needs to be changed.  I am relativly new to the Nagant world, so I would also like to know what a good base weapon to build off of would be.  I have been loking at gunbroker, AIM, and SOG. Hex or smooth?  Factory?  Year?  I have been looking around on the net but would prefer to have some personal experiences from you guys.

i know i broke a cardinal rule but i had my m-39  fin drilled and tapped and bolt handle cut off and replaced with a bent one. oh does that shoot nice with a scope on it !!!

Hawkeye is now in a federal witness protection program as there are thousands of Mosin collectors who want him dead.
