Just got a M39 and was wondering where to get stripper clips. Also can i mount a scope to this rifle? Thanks for all help in advance.

ebay , search for mosin stripper clips.

Please don't mount a scope unless it's a no-gunsmith mount. Un-Bubba'd M39s are only going to go up in value and are great shooter with iron sights.

Forgot to mention that important fact that it had to be no gunsmithing. have no intention of altering this rifle. It would be an absolute sin . My rifle is unisued and in mint condition.Thanks for the info.

I've got a Darrell scout mount on my M39. It fits on the rear sight and is easily reversible.

Ditto on Darrell's mount.

Pistol scopes have very narrow fov due to the fwd mount, which is only amplified by mag power. Doing it again, I'd try a 2.5x or 2-7x, but my 4x NcStar cheap concept tester has not broken yet.
