The recent sales of the P-1 pistols kind of hurt the current value of the P-38's.
I have't seen many lately. I would guess $400-$500 depending on markings if in excellent condition. I litterally laughed in a guys face two weeks ago when he tried to sell me a 1945 Spree Work that had tool marks all over it. "Only $600" Import marks make a bit more difference in this pistol. I have a Walther made at the very end of April, or in very early May 1943 with no import marks, I paid $350 for it about 6 years ago. |

The best way to nuke a sale is to mention what it is really worth.<G>
I'd feel guilty not doing that to someone I consider a friend. Don't know if I would have actually gotten this stuff anyways. He has been talking about selling it for 5 years now. Dennis Jenkins

Well got it in today, looks nice but I got to work until next friday so I cant shoot it yet.

Hell, it will be next week before you figure out the action and get a round chambered.
I shoot mine once every couple years, and it takes half an hour to get a round fromthe mag to the chamber. |

I got that right, even chambered one to make sure I had it right. And I already took it apart and back together. Just got to figure how to load it from strippers now |
