Look Here
Looks like these guys just got a shipment in or something.

I checked out their other items and they seem higher in price on most any item as compared to others.

Do their prices seem a bit high or on the mark for items like those listed?

Dennis is always kind of high but you don't hear many complaints about the grading.  It will be like he describes it.  Other places you buy blind.

Do you feel lucky?

Ok, how about these rifles instead:

New Set of Rifles

These look great (ok, the one picture looks great) but the price seems a bit high.

K98 RIFLES

Cal. 8x57

Original WWII German K98k Rifles

These rifles came out of Russia in the condition that we are offering them.  95% matching numbers, mint bores, the wooden stocks are beautiful, come complete with cleaning rod and front site cover except on older models .  All markings are intact.  In stock now!

You are comparing individually described rifles to a pot luck deal.

So it appears $400 is too much to pay for a Mauser?

I want one, too.
Obershutze916, do you have a source that we could look to for nice looking, not terribly collectible, K98's?

if i were considering one i'd wonder what exactly '95% matching numbers' meant. that 19 out of 20 parts match? i didn't think there were that many numbered parts. from what i understand about how these were 're-arsenaled' then it would be very unusual to find one, much less many, with all or even '95%' matching parts. i've only seen one RC where the bolt and receiver matched.
