Dennis is always kind of high but you don't hear many complaints about the grading. It will be like he describes it. Other places you buy blind.

Ok, how about these rifles instead:
New Set of Rifles These look great (ok, the one picture looks great) but the price seems a bit high. I really have not looked since I picked up mine. The week they came in, I went crawling through 18 crates of these rifles at AIM just to find my two.
Since then I have not payed much attention. To find a rifle that fits your standards, really any of the large dealers would be fine. I would also go to any local gun shows. Prices might be about the same, and you get a good look at what you are buying before hand. Few are "collectble", but to find a decent WWII German made battle rifle, most bigger dealers would be about the same. Although I am not as friendly with the folks at AIM anymore, I still think they would be better than many. |

I would also add that Cole's is about the most honest high roller out there. Gary Cole who runs the place, and "little Gary" who helps him are about the two most decent people in the business.

if i were considering one i'd wonder what exactly '95% matching numbers' meant. that 19 out of 20 parts match? i didn't think there were that many numbered parts. from what i understand about how these were 're-arsenaled' then it would be very unusual to find one, much less many, with all or even '95%' matching parts. i've only seen one RC where the bolt and receiver matched. |

I can only think of about 15 MAX serialized parts. Few have near that many.
