I just picked one up used after deciding I needed another 10/22 to have to teach my boys as they get older. Went to look at FGG and saw the charger and instantly liked it. Had read alot of reviews in the past but had never handled one. This one was the standard charger with threaded barrel. For $299, I figured that wasn’t a bad deal and snagged it up.

Already ordered the cooper custom AR buffer tube adapter and will install a KAK pistol brace that I had laying around. Threw a vortex crossfire I already had on it.

Even in its current factory configuration, this is a nice little set up.

Taking it shooting today and it maybe the gun that finally makes me decide to get a suppressor

They are a fun little pistol. Especially with the bipod. Shooting spinners at 4-H, a 3-9 scope is set up at 4x to shoot 60,75,100 yds. Mine doesn't have a brace, but the grip was swapped for a magpul and it has a BX trigger.

Got it sighted in for the most part, will do another sight in once the copper customs piece gets in. Have to admit, this thing is a lot of fun! I was even taking some one handed pot shots at targets while driving my dads mule.

I can definitely see getting a silencer for this in the near future if my finances allowAttachment Attached File

No love here.  A few years ago I considered the Charger as I wanted a pistol to use 10/22 mags to go along with my 10/22 rifle.  The Charger was bigger and heavier, and also more expensive at the time than what I wanted; and I've no desire to have an arm brace equipped firearm of any type or caliber.  I ended up getting a lightly used, reasonably priced, Intratec Scorpion .22LR pistol that I shoot more than I shoot the Ruger 10/22 rifle.

MHO, YMMV, etc.  Be well.

I don’t care for it. I don’t see it as a practical firearm.

Scooped up a SB22 fixed kit for $80 shipped

Now internally debating whether to return the copper custom adapter (loss 10% for restocking), sell it in conjunction with my kak brace to someone, or just keep for when I buy another charger which I already foresee myself doing

I have two. Both 10" threaded models.

One has a 1913 rear rail adapter, sig folding knuckle and SBA4 on it. Holosun 507C and a binary trigger. YHM Mite rips on it nicely.

I have a second one I picked up in trade. Just popped on an extra brace and an old Vortex red dot.

They have a nice little niche. I have a standard 10/22 that almost never gets used as these things shoot as well.

It’s one of my favorite guns to take to the range.

I was in love with the concept from day one with the gen1 design. I have a couple

I still have one I intend to cut down and turn into a 4” “pirate pistol” tribute.

Something like this (not mine)

OP

Any interest in selling the Copper Custom and KAK?

Mine is more than a range toy, it's now my go to squirrel gun. I've got it setup up with a brace, red dot, and suppressor. The short barrel makes it easier to tote through the woods with a suppressor. The red dot makes it almost as fast as a shotgun to get on target, and I can stretch out to 50 yards if necessary. It is also handy enough to take to my treestand while deer hunting. When I'm about to climb down, I pull out the charger and shoot all the small critters I've been watching for the past few hours.

The more I shot it, the more I love it
