Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Problems with .22 lever action gun

I have a Western Auto Model 115 (made by savage) .22 lever action rifle.

The action is stuck.  After that last shit that was fired, the action will no longer open.

The lever won't pull down, its just stuck.

It almost looks like the action has slightly popped out of the receiver.

Before I start taking it apart, I was just wondering if anyone else had a problem like this?
