Never heard of or seen any such animal. dont mean it didnt exist, but you sure it was for a 10/22?

Bingham made a 30rd mag, that used an adaptor for different applications, including one for the 10/22. But, they were made of steel, not aluminum. Very rare now, and go for $150.~$200.

Think you're refering to the MMAG replacement bodies. Pretty crazy expensive at $90, plus to stay this side of legal, you'd need a preban mag as well. Of course, in ~10 days, that shouldn't be much of a problem. By the same token, you may as well just buy a bunch of steel lipped mags and be done with it.
