Fucking finally. Someone has come out with a powered helmet rail system, and there are already companies coming out with systems that integrate with it. Cuts down on the battery weight and wires running everywhere.

So to change out the battery I would have to remove the helmet rail?

So a replacement battery would go there. And given the big Army push for a unified battery system, these will probably be some kind of rechargeable lithium battery setup. |

Does anyone know if the rail system is an upgrade to current helmets or if it’s a whole new helmet?
I went to a nv class and the instructor had a preproduction version for a year or more to test. Such a streamlined setup |

Supposed to be able to retrofit to any sf series helmet. Saw comments that the price is likely going to be $2k but idk what all is included in that.
