Quoted: Im frankly sick of the little thin pad that comes with the pack and the fact that the strap that is supposed to keep the pad tight always loosens up causing the ruck to dig into my lower back at the worst times. I was looking at lightfighter's site and saw upgraded pads made by eagle www.lightfighter.com/item.html?PRID=638436, tactical tailor www.lightfighter.com/item.html?PRID=1367764 and black hawk www.lightfighter.com/item.html?PRID=1129432.i was wondering which one has the thickest padding and would be the most comfortable? Does anyone have any experiences with these pads? Also what are the positives and downsides to each one?

Hoplite, I can vouch for the Eagle pad and shoulder straps and tell you the I've found them to be the sweetest mod I have
ever made to my large ALICE/ruck!
I have only one experience with TT and that was an expensive pouch with missed stitching all over the place (didn't want to send it back as it took over three weeks to get so I darned it myself).
As for Blackhawk, well, a large gun case (made in Vietnam) and a few other items I have of theirs are actually holding up quite well.
Nonetheless, I have
never had a bad experience with
any Eagle products I own and cannot speak highly enough of, amongst many other items, their ruck mod kit.
