Hi all.  First time posting in this section of the site.  If this question is a no go just let me know.  I just wondered where I might find the value of a particular shotgun?   I have tried all of the gun auction sites and can't find anything comparable.  Any ideas would be appreciated.  Thanks.

I would ask here but I didn't know if that was permitted or not.

Now  I can't get the IM to work.  When I click on IM user it pre-populates the To box with my user name.  No one ever said I was very bright.

From what I have seen, asking for values is OK as long as it doesn't turn into a selling ad.

Pictures always help since condition is so important to prices.

Post up details and a pic.  There is a lot of collective shotgun knowledge here.

Not looking to sell really.  Just curious.  I don't have any good pics right now but here is the description.  It's an early 90's Winchester 1300 Defender. Still made by Winchester and not FN. It has been a safe queen since I bought it and I doubt it has even had 40 rounds through it. Perfect shape. What makes it unusual is the accessories. I have the original 18" barrel on it but also have a rifle sighted FN 18" barrel with fiber optic sights and screw in chokes. I currently have a Carlson breacher choke on it. It also has a Blackhawk Knoxx compstock along with the original stock and both the original forearm and the Blackhawk forearm. I don't think you can even buy the rifle sight barrels anymore. They were selling for around 205.00 at Midwest Guworks before they sold out.

The Blackhawk Comp stock is the straight variety.  Not the pistol grip.  The last time I shot it I lit off a couple of 3" Brenneke Black Magic slugs and that stock makes those beasts actually comfortable.

I have not seen that particular combination for sale before.

I had a 1300 Defender in 99% condition that I sold to a member here a few years ago.  As you know, the 1300 action is very, very smooth.  I'd guesstimate the value of your gun and added stuff to be in the neighborhood of $450-$525 if you can find the right buyer.

The 37 edition of the Blue Book of gun values lists a 100% condition 1300 Defender at $270.

That is of course without the extra barrel, Knox stock, etc.

I had a gentleman transfer a used one of those through my shop last week.

I recall he said he gave $200+shipping for it.

Granted that was the plain shotgun, not your mentioned accessories.
