Howdy all,

What would you think is the lifespan of shotgun ammunition (OO buckshot, U.S. commercial manufacturers) if it is kept in a vehicle (AKA hell- high heat, humidity)?

What do police agencies do?  Do they cycle the ammunition every 6 months?  A year?

Thanks,
Cheese

Thanks for the response.   I will cycle the shells through on a six month basis.   I can use the old shells as range fodder.

Again,
Thanks.

Oh, my Mossberg doesn't scratch the shells.  It downright chews on them!  I will keep an eye open for rust.

Thanks again,
Cheese
