Just picked on a tp9sf one series.  I know they are a nitrate finish now.  Does anyone know if they are nitrated over phosphate?

I’ve never heard of Nitride over phosphate.  If the Nitride finish has a frosted look it would be because of the way the bare metal is bead blasted or polished.   I don’t know if you could phosphate finish a part after it had a nitride finish.  I feel sure you could paint or Cerokote a Nitride part.

Nitride is a metal treatment, not a coating.

The ONE series is NOT Cerakoted.  It is a straight up Nitride finish.  Very good stuff.
