I looking at the new 21a INOX. I'll get it and the Tomcat Inox 32acp soon. Does anyone have experience with either of these two new model INOX's?

I have a 21a Inox, no issues with it.  Fun little gun.

I have the Tomcat 32 shiny!

Sweet, but 32 shows a bit of a kick in that little frame vs the Cheetah 32.
Very much a mouse gun.

I have a new 21A, love it. Wish Beretta would make a factory threaded model.

This^^^. Mine sees a healthy diet of Aguila interceptors.

Yep if they had a factory treaded version I would buy one now.

I have both. The 21a is an older blued one and the Tomcat is the newer INOX. I enjoy them both.

I have both but unfortunately haven't shot either gun yet.

Debating on whether or not to get them threaded.....

My neighbor had been looking for the 22 version for awhile and finally found a new one at a LGS.

He’s got about 500rds thru it with varying ammo brands and no hiccups.

My dad had a Beretta 950 "Jetfire" and a 70S in 7.65mm Browning...always flawless. Beretta quality control
is generally excellent throughout their line-up, even today.

Good luck.

Had the Inox 21a.

Fun to shoot but jams are a biotch to clear.
No extractor so using it for self defense would be a risk.

Mine liked MiniMags but would occasionally jam with those.

Have both. My only complaint is the grips, so I switch them to wooden grips. Both of my 21as are threaded. Never had a failure to fire or extract on them or my Tomcat.

Do you mind letting me know who threaded your 21as?

Thanks

I have a newer INOX 21A with a threaded barrel. Fun little gun. Only shot it with MINI MAGs and Aquila Super Extra. Both ran fine, But I normally shoot less then 100 rounds per range session with that pistol.

Damn this thread is haunting me... local gun shop posted one on there facebook last night just in with original box dated 1993 for $200 went there this morning when they opened up to snag it, turns out one of the employees bought it...
DAMN!
One of the benefits of working at a gun shop! Lol

Bought my second 21a a month ago.  Had to send the first one back that the salesman handed me, as the slide showed sloppy machining.  The second one was only slightly better.

It was just like the one I had 28 years or so ago- jammed constantly after about 30 rounds.

Got to keep the chamber whistle clean for it to work worth a darn.

My original one was very nicely blued, with wood grips.  This one is stainless with plastic grips.

Just picked up one yesterday and was trying it out with different ammo.
Definitely needs good HV ammo to cycle properly, Mini Mags worked best. That is a serious hammer spring to push back!
Browning BPR is more for bolt/lever guns. Very unreliable in the 21A.
ETA: Ran some CCI SV just for grins. About 60% cycling.

Size is identical to a TCP 380 but a lot more fun to shoot.

I’m a glutton for punishment.
I sold my older Inox 21a, but I just bought a brand new, made in Tennessee gun.

I purchased a new made in Tennessee Tomcat about 4 weeks ago.
Could barely get through 2 mags without a FTF.
This was using recommended ammo, Win. and Blazer fmj, Gold Dots, Silver Tips.

Waiting for UPS to deliver it back from the factory now.
I’ll probably sell it.
Bought it for my wife but with her hand issues she can’t flip the lever or get the barrel closed after it’s open.

I’m hoping the new 21a runs better.
The manual actually says something about the gun being designed for standard velocity ammo but we’ll see.
The blue and the Inox ones I’ve had ran best with MiniMags.
I’m a sucker for small .22s.

Both my guns are Inox.
My brother has a blue Tomcat that’s only a few years old.
It runs like a scalded cat.

Have never owned/shot a 21a.
How accurate are these?
How reliable with the right ammo? (I know 22s tend to be picky)

I'm looking for a 22 rimfire (LR or Mag) for pocket carry while I'm fishin or hiking.

Has to be a rimfire for it to be legal on state forests where I go.

Right now I use a 22/45 Lite in a HPG kitbag. Works well but would like something smaller and pocket sized for those days I don't want to wear a kitbag.
