mid session today my Mark III 22/45 wouldn't fire. i could see on the shells where the firing pin was trying to fire the bullets. tore it down and when i removed the large recoil spring on top of the bolt the firing pin and the rest fell out. the small circle is a coil or two of the small spring that broke off.

how do i fix? where do i get another spring? is there other parts i should replace?

links would be awesome.

thanks

Don't know how long it will take but Ruger has great customer service. If you want to do it yourself numrich should have what you need.

I believe the sear spring went bad on mine.  I can find the part on my phone I can look when I get home.

Call Ruger and ask them to send you a repacement firing pin rebound spring.  No reason to pay for it when they will send you one for free.
