Shouldn't be a problem. You will loose your magwell, but I don't like magwells on a carry gun anyway.

I know the bobtailing itself is pretty simple, I just wasn't sure if there were any caveats as far as working with aluminum as opposed to steel. |

I was thinking about this also. What parts need changing? I've never seen officers specific main springs.
