Blasphemer!!!

STI does at least.  Looks like a lot of their models are available in a variety of calibers.  IIRC Nighthawk will make one in most calibers if parts are available.  I'm not sure who else.

Anyone have any pics, or links to some options?
Im toying with the idea...might be interested in a 1911 in this caliber.

Been thinking of putting together of a set of 1911's in various calibers.

Many of STI's guns are available in .40.

Dan Wesson's got one on the website, never seen one of these in person though.

Kimber also made them for a while.

It would be easier to answer who
does not make one.

Have been looking for 45ACP ammo for my new 1911/.45 at numerous stores, Wallys, online.

I can see why your looking at 40 S&W.

Just came back to the 1911's (my third CCW now)  from a G23 and good grief.... seems like EVERYONE is sold out of .45!  Even went to pricing out started to reload (even though I have no time to do so) it's just about as expensive as buying new.

Know Springfield makes a Champion in 40S&W, as well as the others already mentioned.

Much Luck!

Seriously 1911's are chambered in more calibers than any other pistol. Most 1911 companies have a 40S&W caliber since it is a popular round.

I'm really liking the Springfield 1911's a lot lately, so i would go with them.

I have a Springfield Trophy Match in .40 and a Fusion Firearm in .40 as well. Both are great guns.
