Since you won't carry it and you don't have one, I would definitely get the full size. Some inspiration (sorry it's not the stainless model):

I was leaning towards the full size. I dont generally carry a 1911 because most my 1911 collection consists of high end models that normally have work done to them and I would cry if I had to use it for defense then got taken by the boys in blue. You would be lucky to get it back in the same condition it left you if not at all. Thats why I carry a glock 23, 27 or my smith 642 j frame. They get the job done and if I lose it, no big deal. I like the full size for obvious benifits but it's also a classic. I love the history behind the full size 1911.

Go full size. I currently have 5 Kimbers and love them all.
I really like my Eclipse and Warrior. The TLE II is a very nice pistol and you will not be disappointed. |

Full size all the way, I carry a stainless TLE II on duty and off duty...can't say enough good things about this pistol.

Well I ordered a Stainless TLE II yesterday. WOO-HOO! Cant wait for it to get here. Thanks for the convincing guys. Im glad I went with the full size.

Well I went in to the gun store today hoping maybe they would have my pistol and of course......2 week backorder. DAMN! I hate having to be patient for a gun. I swear its like a disease. Oh well, I will let ya'll know when I get it.
