Careful there...if you're looking for a new beavertail grip safety, keep in mind that SA's frame tangs are cut differently from the other mfrs.

Which means... what? I already ordered an Ed Brown series 70 beavertail. Will I not be able to use it? |

It has to do with the shape of the frame around the point where the grip safety is pinned in. Traditionally, it's .250. Springfields are .220, which means you'll have a gap between the frame and the sides of the beavertail. It should function, just may look unsightly to you.
It may also be different since you have a Loaded rather than a Mil-Spec model. More info Here |

Correct. The gap can be welded up.
