I have an SA Ultra Compact .45, the loaded model. I've had it approximately a year, and have only fired about 500 rounds through it. It shot great the first 450 or so, and the next time i took it to the range, it refused to extract anything. I tried both factory mags, and neither one would go more than 2 rounds without jamming up,though usually it would be only one. This occurred with all types of standard ball ammo, about 5 types, total. Any ideas on this?I'm thinking something must be wrong with the extractor, but not really sure. Is this something i should send back to SA,or just try to have a new extractor put in? Any and all input would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I would say extractor needs adjusted. Now I don't think the springers are spring steel so you  mite be better of spending a few $ and getting a Wilson or Brown.
