DK 1911? It looks like an all 1911 for $1200 MSRP. I was wondering if it's the TRP class or not. Me and a buddy were thinking about getting one. Thanks...

S&W makes a fine 1911 and you will most likely be very pleased with the 1911DK.

I have a base model SW1911 and love it.  Had some problems with it hanging up when at first, but Smith was great about it when I called them, they put in a new barrel and recoil spring, and now no problems at all.  Fun to shoot and more accurate than me.
