Got a 10mm barrel for my RIA 1911 double stack 40. How in the hell do you get the 24 pound recoil spring installed? It's impossible.

A FLGR will make it easier.. as the spring won’t flex while trying to install it and will be locked in place.

I put a standard GI plug and a 10-8 reverse plug for my Operator. Even that (18 lb) is a pain. I went back to the FLGR on mine
