We've all seen this before but I get a kick out of it and  wanted to share.  What a brilliant guy.

Always cool to see the function shown in that cmptr drawing format.

Even if you know exactly how it works ... seeing it like superman is totally awesome !

All very cool and such, but the barrel isn't shown tilting like it is supposed to. Fail!

Cool but they didn't get the disconnector operation right.

Sear doesn't reset until the slide pushes the disconnector down.

Timing with the fired round is not right either. The round would likely have already left the barrel before the locking lugs disengage. Animation implies that the slide begins to move as soon as the primer is struck, which means the locking lugs would be doing zilch, and accuracy would be terrible.

And the chamber supporting the cartridge would serve no purpose. That gun would beat itself to shit with a quickness.

Neat, but a little wrong in a few areas:

The rifling animation shows the cartridge case ejecting before the bullet exits the barrel. I know it's nitpicky, but that's not what happens.

Also the slide cocking the hammer animation(s) - the hammer rises just a little bit as the slide moves forward and loses contact with the hammer.
