Jerry is also just a helluva nice guy.
I remember at the shooter's meeting at one of the early "Masters" matches (1992 maybe?) when someone in the audience asked if it was OK to shoot a revolver with a bobbed hammer. Dick Metcalf replied "I'll just let Jerry answer that.......what do you think ,Jerry". Jerry's reply " just as well bob the hammer..don't need it no how" |

Timed my buddy with 8 rounds with splits between .06 and .08, whats that work out around to for rounds per minute?

Excellent video and thank you. I really am curious about ricochets though. I guess it's MY
ignorance showing, but I would be afraid to shoot steel that close. What am I missing? |

Wow that's a fantastic video. Great intro to 1911's and a pretty good history lesson. Nothing works as well as visual aides like the 1917 ammunition.
My favorite part of the range action was running two guns for 20 rounds on target: "Wow what a great way to waste ammo." ha! So fun. |

Wow, I never get tired of watching Jerry shoot. No doubt you've been told this a jillion times but Jerry, you ARE the MAN! I just wish I had access to ammo and a place to shoot whenever I wanted. I could never match Jerry's skill but I'd have a similar smile!
