So a while back I was asking about standard Mak main spring fitment in a Chinese Type59. Well it looked like the measurements were the same so I ordered one, it dropped in perfectly and function was good.
Fast forward a few months and I finally had a chance to get it out to the range. Function was 100%, but the best part was how much better the trigger felt. Double action is actually usable now! Originally DA was a 20 plus pound pull, now it's more in line with a modern DA, the pull seriously feels half has hard. Also single action is greatly improved too, feels around 5 pounds with a clean break.
All said for 13 bucks I not only repaired the pistol, but greatly improved it.
