I think most (not all) are just called Makarovs. Kind of like several companies make 1911s, though some have their own names for their 1911 design.

East German = The official designation at first was "9-mm-Pistole M" , later refered to as "PM9", sometimes just "Pistole M" or "Model M"
Chinese = Type 59
Russian and Bulgarian "Pistolet  Makarova" or just "PM"
