I was recently offered a Griffon 1911 Commander (.45). I passed on it because I wasnt familiar with the mfgr. Anyone know this gun? Comments?

did it have a what I call a finger spike in the grip between the middle and third finger?

if so I believe it was a safariland...they still make them I think as a coustom shop item.

700-800 would be a good price...

if it is the one with the vent top/slide
can not say on quality, never held one
