Sig P232 vs. Colt 380 (not sure on Plus II or original pocketlite)

I am not oncerned about double action versus traditional single action.  No big deal.  Colt can be carried cocked and locked safely (these are series 80 guns) and the sig can be carried hammer down.  I will only be firing either in single action anyway.

What concerns me is size, trigger, and perofmrance of the 380 out of each....

the sig is more reliable out of the box. the colt will need work to be 100% from what i have seen. barrel lengths are about the same and 380 is marginal anyway.

Given the choice of the two I would pick the Sig.

My first carry gun was a P230.
