For $199, my FEG cant be beat. I watched in horror as my 1989 BHP wore as it was being shot (it got looser and looser and the slide wore the hammer sharp where it drags) and another WWII nazi proofed was wildly inaccurate (would have to grind front sight almost off to point of aim) my 3rd and last Hi-Power was just unreliable. I must have got all the lemons? But the Hungarian copy is very accurate, reliable, (even with the modified Ram-line SS BHP mags) No, its not finished anywhere near as nice as the real thing, but at $199 and with all the 13 round mags I have anyway, I kept it.

I think that the FEG and the ARCUS are some of the best VALUE out there today. The FM can't really be called a clone since it's actually made underlicesne and is part for part the same as the Mark III. But it's also the one that I carry and shoot the most often.

My current 'HiPower' is an Inglis/Chinese contract piece w/tangent rear sight and slotted for shoulder stock.
